Was doubtful about this product but over the past few weeks I have come to love this.
It is fairly bulky but transportable. You need to take the protective plastic off of the legs before taking it to the beach. As the manufacturers say the trick is to keep it all very stretched and tight. Worthwhile to set it up and then adjust and readjust a few times to get the poles, sandbags and shade perfect.
Went set up provided great shade, withstands very strong winds (although flaps worryingly). Easy to put down and stow when finished for the day.
It’s not so common and the number of times people asked us where we had got it from and what a smart idea it was. Strongly recommend it, especially if future summers are as hot and dry as this one.

We bought this to use on a recent vacation to Florida. We tested it out on an Atlantic beach near Daytona and a Gulf side beach, both with different sand conditions and wind. The most important thing is to make sure that you follow set up instructions and start by angling the shade to face the direction of the wind. My husband forgot this step on our second day and we ended up pulling out the pulls and repositioning because the wind was catching one side. After we changed the position, we had no problems. It is definitely easier to set up with two people, but only took about 10 minutes. Wet sand filled the post bags faster than dry sand and it was very stable, even with some steady winds. We loved the included sand scoop and had several people stop and ask us where we got our shade because this one easily provided space for our family of 6 to sit and have shade cover on our beach chairs. We could have fit a few more chairs under the shade as well. You do have to move chairs around a bit to follow the shade as the sun position changes through the day, but we are very happy with our purchase. We left this shade with some local friends as a gift for their hospitality after our trip and they are excited to continue to use it.

Review Title: Excellent Shade For A Long Day At The Beach

The first time I put it up took a little longer than I expected (30 minutes). The time was cut in half the second day. Taking it down is a breeze. Put sunscreen on frequently. Even with UV protection, I got a decent sunburn from not applying sunscreen every couple of hours like I would normally do. Several people stopped to ask where we made our purchase.

Hi! I’ve been on the beach this week and we brought my Sun Ninja beach tent. Here’s my honest review:

So easy! Just stretch the tent out flat on the sand, pulling the 4 corner pouches out super far. Dig holes for each pouch and start filling the pouches with the sand. Make sure the pouch is filled to the brim and snug down in that hole, then cover the pouch with even more sand so it’s buried in that hole. Then place the poles about a foot in from the corner seams, rubber ball up, and stake them down in the sand. You can use 2 poles to do like a lean-to, or 4 to give you more room. Put the elastic bungees on top so they attach the tent fabric to the rubber ball and pull tight. You’re done!

I bought this because I can’t carry a heavy pop up canopy on the beach alone. This one is easy to carry out- and I don’t have to worry about an umbrella or tent flying down the beach. You need to read all the reviews with suggestions on how to get it up. The second time was way easier than the first.

Ordered to our condo in Siesta Key - arrived very quickly. So easy to assemble - just need sand! 2 people helps. Never wavered in the wind. Passed it on to another family when we left.

We have used it 2 days so far. It has held up well in 12 mph winds, we followed the video and we have had no problems with it yet. Clean the sand off the poles after you break it down. Very nice shade for 3-4 people max. They included a nice shovel with the kit. We are happy so far we are hoping to get 2 seasons out of it.
