All selections work perfectly. The hooks for the wall are tight spring clips. I put two pennies in each of the two to create space from the wall. Then I lowered the shower unto the hooks and the pennies got pushed away and the springs clipped tight again. Once you get your proper water temp, I suggest running thru all selections before entering the shower to get the cold water out of all the lines.
