This aerator just looks classy on my counter top. But more than that, it works. I was skeptical that these gadgets actually make a difference so I was eager to test it out. Of course, one must test it more than once, and having gone through numerous bottles to make sure I have determined that using this aerator does give the wine a head start in its breathing. Sommeliers might frown on this, but I poured one entire bottle through the aerator into a decanter and then immediately back through the aerator again into the original bottle. If you try this take note that the wine, now infused with some air, may not all fit back into the original bottle. No problem. I'm sure you'll know what you can do with the extra. The result was a nice quick enhancement of the taste. So now I have a cool looking aerator on my counter, and I actually use it.
